MIST CREATIVE MAKEUP COMPETITION 2025 - HIGHLIGHTS
The MIST Creative Makeup Competition 2025, autumn term, took place during the Open House at Make Up Institute Stockholm on November 22, and it was nothing short of inspiring! Hosted by Make Up Institute Stockholm and Mist Stockholm, with support from IUM, this year’s theme, Hunger Games - Capitol Glam, brought out incredible creativity and vision.

Flexible Learning Options:
Our program offers flexible learning options, including in-person workshops and online classes through our Distance Flex mode. Attend physical classes anytime, join live online sessions from 9–11 AM (Swedish time), or watch recorded lessons within 24 hours. While the final certification exam requires attendance, this course is ideal for those with day jobs or unable to be in Stockholm, letting you balance your training with your schedule.
PORTFOLIO PHOTOSHOOT TO SHOWCASE YOUR EXPERTISE
Creating a portfolio is essential for building a successful career as an International Makeup Artist. It showcases your best work and highlights your skills and creativity. A digital portfolio is particularly valuable in today's world, as it's accessible 24/7, reaches a wider audience, and allows for easy sharing and updating. To support your career, you'll have the opportunity for five professional portfolio shoots, capturing different looks, techniques, and your creativity in a studio setting, applying everything you've learned in the program.

Our programs offer you the chance to work on various events during the course, helping you build a strong network and enhance your portfolio. Upon completing this course, you’ll be ready to work as a professional makeup artist in events, theater, TV, magazines, film productions, beauty and much more. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to join our in-house makeupartist agency upon graduation and become part of the Make Up Institute Stockholm’s Makeup Artists and Hairstylists team.
